The agent stack got marked. Cognition’s $26B mark, announced May 27, pulled $1 billion at a $25B pre-money led by Lux Capital, General Catalyst, and 8VC. That’s a 2.5x lift from the $10.2B post-money set last September. Devin, the company’s autonomous software engineer, now runs a $492 million annualized revenue run-rate with enterprise usage growing 50% month-over-month for six straight months. Customers include Mercedes-Benz, NASA, Goldman Sachs, and Santander. Autonomous coding just got its biggest single price tag of the year.
The financing rails are repricing too. Capchase’s $200M round, announced the same day, layered a $174M credit facility on a $26M equity raise led by 01 Advisors with Caffeinated Capital, Thomvest, and Invesco. The Salesforce-native platform approves 97% of enterprise tech lending applications in under 30 seconds, and its new Agentic Lending Coordinator compresses an 8-hour financing workflow into 60 seconds. Customers include Okta, Verkada, CDW, and Barracuda. The plumbing under enterprise AI deals is now an AI product itself.
And the chip giants are funding the layer that undercuts their own GPUs. Tensormesh’s $20M seed pulled in AMD Ventures, CoreWeave, and Nvidia’s NVentures arm, bringing total funding to $24.5 million. Its newly launched Tensormesh Inference platform leans on KV caching to reuse already-computed results, which the company claims delivers up to 10x reductions in latency and GPU spend. AMD, CoreWeave, and Nvidia are now bankrolling the software that makes their hardware cheaper to run.
